2. The second appoitment
Prepare your teeth 
In order to have adequate strength and, in the case of porcelain type crowns, proper aesthetics, a dental crown must possess a certain minimal thickness. Your tooth in turn must be reduced by this same amount so once the crown is cemented into place on your tooth will not be oversized.

Besides reducing your tooth so it is smaller in size your dentist must also shape your tooth in a specific fashion. A tooth receiving a dental crown must be slightly tapered in form so the crown will slip over and onto the tooth.

After prepair your teeth, during this time period your tooth will be covered over by a temporary teeth that your dentist has made. The temporary crown, which is typically made from plastic or else a thin shell of metal, will be cemented into place over your tooth.

Make an impression
Once your tooth has been shaped appropriately your dentist will need to make a copy of it by way of taking an impression. Your crown will then in turn be made from this impression. And then, this impression will be sent to a dental laboratory that will in turn use it to create a plaster cast. 

3. Place crown or bridge on your teeth
Crown or bridge will be place on your teeth after temporary teeth are removed. The dentist will adjust crown or bridge still you fell comfortable with new teeth. 

CLINICAL CASEThe procedure was performed by Dr Vo Van NhanPatient: a 35 year old female patient. She is in good healthy and non-smoker. She complains of discolored teeth. Step 1: examination and maybe root canal

 She complains of discolored teeth When she smiles, 10 teeth in upper jaw and 10 teeth in lower jaw are exposed so I only replace 20 teeth in toatal. Both 20 teeth have root canal before prepare to do final crown. It take 2 days for root canal. A model is taken to do temporary teeth before root canal.
Step 2: Prepare your teeth

to cut around your teethAfter root canal, your teeth are prepared for final crown. We need to cut around your teeth like above image. To take model exactly we place the cord around the teeth. Sometime this techique have to do 2 times. In this case, we use the double impression technique.

After preparation 2 days, we try frame to make sure exact crown.
